The conference fostered a great atmosphere of open discussion, and the traditional foods feast helped to stimulate conversation around key food issues.  A considerable amount of networking and deeper discussion took place during the traditional marketplace on day 2.  The last picture shows the atmosphere of sharing at the conference… an independent farmer from Port Alberni brought the rainbow chard and flowers to share with conference participants.
