Norine Messer (left) presented about the Uu-a-thluk Traditional Foods Toolkit and Cookbook. Uu-a-thluk means “taking care of” in Nuu-chah-nulth. Norine works with the Nashuk Youth Council in Port Alberni.
Fiona Devereaux (centre) is a nutritionist and has been a member of the Conference Organizing Committee every year.
